SUMMARY

Operates compacting press to produce powdered metal parts by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Operates one or more compacting presses.

Removes parts by hand or checks chutes when parts are ejected automatically.

Monitor powder levels on machines during production.

Positions workpiece on press as needed for coining.

Fills out molding information slips.

Complete timecard and other production documentation as required in a timely and accurate manner.

Communicates maintenance, safety and production issues to production supervisor.

Perform other work in the PM Dept as needed.

At all times exercise safe machining practices and workplace safety.

Do in-process inspections for visual requirements.

Clean press and work area.

EDUCATION:

   High School Diploma or equivalency.
